A little blurb about me.
I originally dabbled in photography whilst studying government and economics at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts circa 1991. I spent many days & nights at the Carpenter Center of Visual Arts working in the darkrooms developing my black & white prints. Upon graduating I decided that I very much enjoyed the creative process and so would follow this path wherever it lead. After meeting my British born wife in 1994 I relocated to London and have been based here ever since.
I have been speciaising in interiors and in particular hotel photography for the last 25 years. During this time I have photographed over 800 properties around the world. From eighty storey buildings towering above the booming city of Shanghai to intriguing little bed and breakfast properties tucked away in Paris, to the chilly landscape of the Ice Hotel in the Arctic and to the warm lazy shores of a private island hotel in the Grenadines, I have been fortunate enough to visit and capture the essence of so many places through the lens.
You will see from the images showcased that my portfolio is very varied. I have deliberately not allowed myself to be defined by any one style as experience has taught me that each hotel is unique and can benefit from being showcased in many ways. So the choice is up to you… high key style which is very light and airy, wide angle which captures the whole room or the general ambience of the property shown through a series of intriguing “snapshots”.
Thank you for viewing my work and I look forward to the possibility of working with you in the future.
